about private UPlevel sessions
UPlevel your performance with a 60 minute private session that works on choreography of your choice. Start by submitting a video of yourself performing the choreo (a piece of your own choreo that you would like to refine, something you are working on for a performance, choreo from a class you took, or a piece you found online). An UPlevel session begins with a short warm up, and then focuses on how to improve and enhance your performance.
We meet you where you are and what you desire to get from the session: smoothing out transitions in between steps, working on dynamics (when to be soft, oozy, sharp, light), learning which angles to lean into, where your gaze is, what your facial expressions are portraying, how to use space or honing in on the authenticity of the character. You walk away with a Before and After video of your work with written feedback to help you continue growing as a dancer.
